Students analyzed a variety of sources to learn more about the Boston Massacre. There is nothing to make up if you were not in class. There is no homework.

Students had a quiz over WTP Unit 2, and then they worked on connecting current events to the content in Unit 2.

No homework

Students began taking notes over the kingdoms of Ancient Egypt. We discussed important facts about the Old Kingdom, tomorrow we will finish taking and discussing notes over the Middle and New Kingdoms.

We continued working on We the People. We read and discussed Lesson 6.

Next week we will continue working on Unit 2, the quiz for Unit 2 and the due date for the lesson questions is Thursday 9/21

As a class, we read and answered questions about Thomas Paine's Common Sense.

Next week, we will start having a table of the day. This can be earned, by having: everyone at your table on task and completing his/her work, everyone at the table participating in table discussions and keeping those discussions on topic. Table of the day earns you: a piece of candy, a star on the class chart, and a jet fuel stamp. When the next test rolls around, the table that has the most stars on the chart with get a bonus point on the test.

Students were on an interactive website that had them leading an excavation in Mesopotamia.

Study guides for Unit 2 will be reviewed on Monday.

Unit 2 test will be on Tuesday.
