Students finished reading ch. 9 in Blood on the River,and then worked on an assignment that had them noting the ways the settlers modified the environment (as described in the chapter) and to make inferences has to how those modifications impacted relations between settlers and Native Americans.

 Students worked on a packet of Document Based Questions about the Spanish settlers in North America.

Students continued to work on the impact made on culture and society in a country they chose from our Asia map.
